Billing, plans and what you actually pay for

How pricing works, what's in each plan, how invoices are issued and how to cancel without friction.

We try to keep billing boring. No surprise overages, no enterprise-pricing-on-request games, no auto-upgrades. Here's how it works.

What you're paying for

SENTINEL Trader is priced per dealership per month, billed in CAD. The price covers:

  • All 21+ modules (acquisitions, dispatch, recon, marketplace, insights, audit)
  • Unlimited users and unlimited vehicles
  • Every official API connector we ship (OPENLANE, ADESA, Manheim, etc.)
  • The seven specialised AI agents and their daily runtime
  • Email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice and push briefings — your operators choose the channels

There is no per-VIN fee, no per-user upgrade, no per-channel surcharge.

What's outside the subscription

A small number of things are pass-through costs because they are billed by a third party:

  • Carrier transport is billed by your transporters directly
  • Auction fees are billed by the auction platforms
  • Fuel card transactions are billed by your fuel card provider

We surface these costs inside the platform for visibility, but they are never added to your SENTINEL invoice.

Invoicing

Invoices are issued on the first of each month for the month ahead. Payment is by pre-authorised debit (Canadian dealers), credit card or wire (US/international). Receipts are emailed to the billing contact you set on Settings → Billing.

GST/QST are charged where applicable. If you operate across multiple provinces, set your registration numbers on Settings → Billing → Tax and the breakdown is handled automatically.

Founding cohort dealers

If you're in our Q3 2026 founding cohort: your access is free for life on the modules that exist on the day you joined. New modules ship at fair pricing, never bundled in retroactively. The founding terms are written down — ask your dealer success contact for the exact document.

Cancelling

Cancellations are self-service on Settings → Billing → Cancel. There's a 30-day off-ramp during which you can export your data and we honour any commitments in flight. We don't trap you with cancellation friction — if SENTINEL isn't earning its keep for you, that's our problem to fix.
